Queens House Jaffna, Jaffna

Queen's House in Jaffna is a historic colonial-era residence situated within the Jaffna Fort. Originally constructed in the 17th century, it served as the official residence for the commander of the colonial garrison and later became the Governor's residence during British rule. Post-independence, it was used by the Governor General of Ceylon and subsequently by Presidents William Gopallawa and J. R. Jayewardene during their visits to Jaffna.
